What Is the GMAT Scored Out Of?
The current GMAT scoring system runs from 205 to 805, with every total score ending in a 5. Your total score is derived from your three section scores on Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights, each scored on its own scale between 60-90.
You may occasionally come across GMAT scores ending in 0. These are scores from the previous version of the exam, commonly called the GMAT Classic or GMAT 10th Edition. They can’t be compared directly with current GMAT scores because the scoring scale and exam format changed significantly.
