Cookie Policy

1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how GMAT Ninja LLC (“GMAT Ninja,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on gmatninja.com and its associated subdomains. It supplements, and should be read with, our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage, and software development kits (together with cookies, “cookies”). They can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a provider we use), and either session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain for a set period).

3. The categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required to run the site and provide the Services you request, for example keeping you logged in, securing the site, and remembering items in a cart. These do not require consent, and the site cannot function properly without them.
  • Functional / preference cookies — remember your choices (such as language or region) to improve your experience.
  • Analytics / performance cookies — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it (for example, which pages are visited and where errors occur).
  • Advertising / targeting cookies — used to deliver and measure advertising, and may build a profile of your interests. These are the cookies most likely to involve “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law (see Section 6).4. Cookies we use

WPForms Analytics Distinguishes users for form data collection. 12 months

5. Your consent and how to manage cookies

Consent. We set non-essential cookies (functional, analytics, and advertising) only after you consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time via our “Cookie Settings”, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the Services cannot be provided without them.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Opt-out preference signals. We honor browser-based opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required.

Third-party opt-outs. For some third-party cookies you can also opt out directly, for example through the provider’s own tools (e.g., Google Analytics opt-out) and industry programs (e.g., the Network Advertising Initiative and Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out pages).

6. Cookies, “sharing,” and U.S. state privacy laws

Some advertising cookies may involve disclosing information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which California and several other states treat as “sharing” / targeted advertising that you can opt out of — even where no money changes hands. If GMAT Ninja uses such cookies, you can exercise that opt-out through our “Your Privacy Choices” / “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and via GPC.

7. Third-party cookies

Where third parties set cookies through our site, their use of the data is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. We link to the main providers we use in Section 4. We do not control these third parties and encourage you to review their policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as the law requires. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
